WHAT IS WORSHIP LIKE?
Our worship is led by a praise team / band with a mixture of classic hymns, long-treasured praise music and contemporary songs like you will hear on K-LOVE. There is something for everybody!
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?
Our children start out in the worship center with the adults for the music and prayer times so they learn about corporate worship. Then, when it is time for the sermon, they go to another part of the building for learning at their level. Dad and mom are then able to relax and listen to what God has for them without distractions.
We also have a preschool / nursery area where our smallest treasures are well cared for and enjoy age appropriate learning and activities. We will issue you a silent paging device so if your little one needs you at anytime, you will be the first to know!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
We are casual and don’t make judgements about clothing; we want you come just as you are. Some of us wear business casual, some of us wear jeans and t-shirts, some of us wear shorts and Hawaiian shirts! We care much more about what God wants to do inside of you than what you wear on the outside. You will find no condemnation here… family does not do that.
ARE VISITORS SINGLED OUT?
We do NOT single out visitors nor do we make you do things like stand up, make a speech or anything! We might shake your hand and tell you how excited we are that you are here, but we will NEVER single you out and embarrass you!
WHAT ARE YOUR SERMONS LIKE?
Our pastor, Rick Isbell, is our primary Bible teacher and his sermons are easy to understand and aimed at helping you live a full Christian life everyday. Our sermons are not meant to impress you, they are meant to help you succeed in your Christian journey. You will laugh, you will cry, you will learn, and you will grow as a person!
HOW DO I BECOME A CHURCH MEMBER?
First of all, understand that you do NOT have to be a member of our church to attend our church, you are always welcome at any event we have. With that said, we do believe membership is important because it makes you a living, breathing part of the body of Christ and the family of God. We want to be family with you!
There are 3 ways to join our church:
1) To make a profession of faith. This is when you surrender your life to Christ and begin your Christian journey with baptism and church membership.
2) If you are already a member of a Southern Baptist Church, we can simply write that church and ask them to transfer your membership to ours.
3) If you are a member of another denomination and you have made a profession of faith and you have been baptized by immersion in water after your profession of faith, you may join us by statement.
Perhaps you have made a profession of faith (like at home, at a youth camp, etc.) but never followed through with baptism. We will receive you as a member on your statement and schedule your baptism with you to complete your experience. It’s easy and exciting!
Our Pastor will be pleased to discuss any of these options with you, help you understand each one and facilitate the appropriate choice.
